Job Interview Tips Many people prepare for job interviews by getting a list of possible questions that an interviewer may ask during the job interview, and then rehearsing how they would respond. Usually these lists are titled: "The 10 Horrendous Interview Questions.. And How to Respond to Them." Or "The Most Difficult Interview Questions in the Entire World." The problem with this particular job search tactic is that it creates additional stress within the interview. Most people assume that you have to answer the questions as they have been rehearsed, so on top of everything else, they try to deliver their lines with some degree of composure. One of the best ways to approach a job interview is by understanding exactly what it is that the interviewer is seeking when they ask questions. Essentially, they're checking to see if you can explain how the results you've achieved in one place (your former job) will transfer to a new place (possibly their company). If you can answer a question by explaining how you were able to achieve noteworthy results, and how your approach will work anywhere, you're more likely to impress the interviewer. Being able to recite fake responses that you picked up from the list of "horrendous interview questions" may not always work, unfortunately.
